City of London Churches

Saint Helen's Bishopsgate dates from 1204 when it was part of a priory for Benedictine nuns.

The church is one of the few to survive both The Great Fire and The Blitz during The Second World War.

Saint Helen's was, however, damaged in both 1992 and 1993 during the IRA bombing campiagn against London.
