City of London Churches

Saint Mary Abchurch dates from the twelfth century.

The church was restored in 1611 only to be destroyed in The Great Fire of 1666.

Saint Mary Abchurch was rebuilt by Christopher Wren in the 1680s.

A bomb destroyed the dome during The Second World War and was repaired by 1953.
